Tara Jahn assists with project management for the Educator Effectiveness team at Colorado Legacy Foundation. Prior to joining CLF, Tara worked directly with youth and families with the Johnson Beacon Neighborhood Center, a comprehensive out of school time program and provider for family wrap-around services. She has worked in a variety of other youth serving organizations such as a homeless youth center, a residential treatment facility and enrichment day program.
Hometown: North Pole, Alaska
College: University of Vermont- Undergraduate and University of Colorado Denver- Graduate
Major: Environmental Studies- B.A. and Masters of Public Administration
If you could have dinner with two people, one dead and one living, who would they be? Why?
Living: Robert Putnam- I have studied social capital in the past and find it incredibly intriguing. I would love to talk with him about his research in community development and education.
Not Living: Jessica Tandy- I just really thought she was so cute in Fried Green Tomatoes.
What would you do if you didn’t have to work? Buy an around the world ticket with the goal of traveling and volunteering.
Favorite Colorado Getaway: Hut Trip in the winter.
