Rina Avalos provides program support for the Educator Effectiveness team. The team consists of six members who are all working diligently on various assignments regarding Educator Effectiveness. She ensures all members have adequate support in completing their tasks in an efficient and timely manner, coordinates calendars to schedule meetings and assists with the preparation of events when needed. Rina is excited to participate in the ongoing conversations regarding innovation in public education.

What would you do if you didn’t have to work? If I didn’t have to work I would spend more time doing the things I love like traveling, reading books, volunteering and spending more time with loved ones.
Favorite Colorado Getaway: My favorite Colorado getaway is a little town 30 minutes west of Winter Park called Hot Sulphur Springs. This is the perfect spot to stop and relax after a long day of skiing. The mineral pools leave your body feeling divine, and the star-filled sky illuminates the night making the experience very serene!
