CLF partners with education, safe school climate, and community organizations to hold statewide Bullying Prevention Institutes. The Institutes provide opportunities for leaders to learn about best practices in bullying prevention, on-the-spot interventions, changes in the Colorado Law, recent federal guidance, measuring school climate, cyberbullying, and creating safe, supportive school climates for diverse students (race/ethnicity, LGBT, and disability). Integration II Announcement

Governor Joe Garcia and Dr. Helayne Jones will announce a second stream of funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to support the Colorado Integration Project. WFPL News: Kentucky Creates Foundation to Supplement Education Spending
By Devin Katayama WFPL News 89.3 October 17, 2012 Officials with the Kentucky Department of Education are creating an independent foundation called the Fund for Transforming Education in Kentucky to help local school districts through new funding sources.
