Health Education

• Colorado does not require health education in its schools, but is in the process of developing health education standards that can be used voluntarily if the district chooses to teach health education.
• Colorado does not require that newly hired health education teachers have undergraduate or graduate training in health education or that they be certified, licensed or endorsed by the state. Source
