Educators
The Colorado Legacy Foundation believes that increased student achievement for all Colorado students requires effective leaders in every school, effective educators in every classroom, and healthy and engaged students who come to school ready to learn.
The Colorado Legacy Foundation believes in the primacy of educators to create change in the educational landscape and to create equity for student outcomes, both academic and health-related. Effective educators deployed strategically hold the potential to stimulate student achievement and close the achievement gap. By many accounts, educators are among the nation’s greatest resources – they should be treated, evaluated, developed, and managed as highly valued professionals. The Colorado Legacy Foundation advances the field of educator effectiveness by identifying and proliferating promising practice as well as by incubating out-of-the-box pilot projects.
