What an inspirational message that needs to be shared with teachers, students, parents and community members. Thanks to The Legacy Foundation for leading the way to a new way of thinking about how we educate our children.

This video is fantastic! The idea of using video games as teaching tools is an innovative and adaptive approach to learning in the 21st Century! This Expanded Learning Opportunities video has me thinking about other non-conventional learning environments. What if we provided lectures to students through a video format and required the lessons to be viewed as homework, then used the classroom time for project-based, experiential learning practices? The educator could require the students to come in with one question derived from the lecture and spend the classroom time answering questions in an individualized, one-on-one structure.
