If you could have dinner with two people, one dead and one living, who would they be? Why?

I would choose Barack Obama and Martin Luther King, Jr. because it would be an inspirational and moving conversation that would add to the continued work of improving inequities.

Favorite Book:  I have to admit; I loved the Twilight series and have also fallen in love with the Hunger Games trilogy.

Favorite Teacher:  I have had a few teachers that have really impacted my life including, Mr. Edwards, my 4th grade teacher, who allowed me to find and expand my creativity; and my high school biology teacher, Mr. Trimble, who also happened to be my cross country coach.  He pushed me to excel beyond the limits of the classroom to really foster my interest in the subject and instilled in me the belief that I could achieve my most ambitious goals.  It was because of him that I wanted to work in the field of education and support youth in reaching their goals.
